The Three Shires Inn, Little Langdale
The Tree Shires Inn serve lunch daily from 12 - 2pm. On fine days a delightful landscaped garden by a Lakeland stream is the ideal place to eat, drink and relax, while enjoying the views over the Tilberthwaite Fells. We are the perfect lunch stop (or beer or afternoon tea) on many circular low level walks in the Langdale, Elterwater and Skelwith Bridge areas. Evening meals are served in both bars and the restaurant between 6.00 and 8.45pm. Our chefs use fresh local Lakeland produce to create a varied choice of starters, main courses and delicious home made desserts.

The Blacksmiths Arms, Broughton Mills
The Famous, Traditional Lakeland Inn, Broughton Mills, in the beautiful Lickle Valley, about 5 miles from Coniston. A real gem, dating back over 300 years, very small, with low beams, real fires, superb food, and real ale! Unmissable! Phone ahead to book for supper - otherwise you may be disappointed!

Evans Marquee Hire
It is possible to erect a marquee at our Coppermines Mountain Cottages for your special celebration. Evans Marquee hire has been providing quality marquees for over twenty years. They have provided marquees for an enormous variety of events, including: Weddings, Birthdays, Anniversaries, Agricultural Shows, Steam Rallies, Sports Days, Royal and VIP Events. A frame marquee for 80 - 100 people to dine in can be erected at The Coppermines, next to our cottages, when their accommodation has been booked, by special arrangement.

Weddings & Celebrations at the Coppermines
Looking for a unique location for your wedding reception? With magnificent views to the Coniston mountains above and Coniston Water in the valley floor below The Coppermines Cottages make a truly memorable location for a wedding reception. The four interlocking cottages can accommodate 26 guests in ten ensuite rooms with another cottage just 500 yards away accommodating another four guests. Working with our colleagues at Evans Marquee hire it is possible to erect a marquee accommodating 120 guests with catering provided by Andrew Southcott Catering.

WILFS OUTSIDE CATERING Staveley Nr.Kendal
They offer a range of outside catering services for all occasions and cater for all types of formal and informal events, parties etc. Our Cafe in Staveley provides good food in a tranquil, riverside setting with a terrace, as well as plenty of room inside for when the weather is less kind. We are happy to cater for families, we have baby changing facilities, we can provide high chairs and we have a children's area upstairs with a collection of toys to keep little ones happy, although you will still need to keep an eye on them. The cafe is open from 10 am until 5pm (with seasonal variations), 7 days a week. Our menu has something for everyone, and we pride ourselves on a fast, friendly service.

The Bluebird Cafe by Coniston Water
Named after Donald Campbells boat, Bluebird. The Bluebird Café by the Lake is situated in and old building built by the Furness Railway Company in 1860.
The café offers a wide selection of good food and drink including a selection of beers and wines, as well as offering a large selection of gifts and Campbell and Bluebird Memorabilia

Specialising in traditional Herdwick and Belted Galloway breeds, we can offer a wide range of quality meat cuts and hamper options, all subject to availability, hampers can be ordered online. They are also able to accommodate special requirements, so please ring or e-mail them to discuss.

Yew Tree Farm Tea Room Coniston
Originally opened by Beatrix Potter many years ago, the Tea room can be accessed on foot or cycle via an extensive choice of Public Rights of Way, parking is available at Tarn Hows, Glen Mary, Coniston, Shepherds Bridge, Hodge Close and Tilberthwaite. Pick up a walk leaflet from The Coppermines Estate Office in Coniston Village and enjoy the 4 mile circular walk from Coniston, with refreshments at Yew Tree Farm.

Harrys Restaurant & Wine Bar, Yewdale Road, Coniston
Harry’s is situated in the centre of the picturesque village of Coniston, in the heart of the Lake District. Nestling between Coniston Water and dramatic Lakeland Fells including the ‘Old Man of Coniston’, the village is in a wonderful setting and is an excellent centre for exploring the National Park. Harry’s is open seven days a week serving a wide variety of food and drink from the famous ‘Harry’s Big Breakfast’ to freshly prepared pasta or locally sourced steak and Cumberland Sausage throughout the day. An extensive choice of wines, beers, spirits and cocktails are available as is freshly ground Lavazza blended coffee. A games room with a pool table is available and plasma TV screens play music and news.

Private Dinner Parties at Yew Tree Farm
Yew Tree Farm is a traditional 300 year old farm house in the Yewdal Valley just two miles north of Coniston. For private dinner parties of groups of 8-16 people this is the ideal venue with lots of character and superb seasonal and locally sourced food including Herwick and Belted Galloway meat reared on the farm.

The Tower Bank Arms
The Tower Bank Arms is a traditional 17th Century Lakeland Inn is situated in the village of Near Sawrey. Many of the illustrations in the famous Beatrix Potter books can be traced back to their origins here, including the Tower Bank Arms, which is featured in The Tales Of Jemima Puddleduck. Hilltop, Beatrix Potters former home, is situated just behind the pub! Take a peek inside this historic National Trust property and you will find it still retains many of its original features including oak beams, slate floor and cooking range.

The Drunken Duck Inn
The Duck has been under the same family ownership since it was bought in April 1977. The present day Inn is an unstuffy mix of old and new, constantly evolving, but always sticking to the basic philosophy of offering good service, comfortable surrondings, excellent food, wine and beer in a relaxed friendly atmosphere.

Hawkshead Brewery
Hawkshead Brewery has been brewing traditional beer styles with a modern twist, in the heart of the English Lake District, since 2002. Having outgrown the original barn just outside the village of Hawkshead, we now have a purpose built brewery beside the River Kent, in Staveley, at the foot of the Kentmere Valley. Visitors can watch the brewery at work from The Beer Hall, which looks down into the Brew House, while sampling our beers. The Beer Hall is a showcase for real ale. It is brewery tap, beer shop, visitors’ centre and function room. It has a Cask Marque award for serving “the perfect pint” and is in The Good Beer Guide.
